When the growth of Tri-State Quality Metals pushed its facility to the limit, the midwestern metal fabricator called on the architects and engineers at IIW to design an administrative complex and manufacturing facility. The 44,000-square-foot facility became a focal point in Dubuque as the first facility to open in the Dubuque Industrial Center South.
IIW led the design and construction of the 40,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing area and 4,000-square-foot office, where the company provides laser cutting, bending, saw cutting, welding, and the powder coating of metal products.
In addition to common offices, meeting room and administrative amenities, the facility also features a functional floor plan optimizing the LEAN process in order for the owner to provide high quality manufacturing products at a very competitive price.
The move to this facility allowed Tri-State Quality Metals to add 20 jobs and increase its footprint in the Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.
