Clearview Elementary Gains Needed Space

The facility expansion of the St. Cloud School District’s school with growing enrollment and sought-after Spanish Immersion Program has been completed. IIW Minnesota worked with the district to plan for future growth and give the PK-5 school the additional classroom, cafeteria, gymnasium and special education space it needed now to better serve its growing student body.

IIW Minnesota developed a master plan to transform the Clearview site to PK-8 and then identified portions of this master plan would be implemented to address current enrollment growth.

David Leapaldt, senior architect for IIW Minnnesota, has worked with the district on its facility plans since 2005.

Originally built in 1961 on 56 acres, Clearview underwent its most recent expansion in 2011 with the additional of four portable classrooms. The district started the Spanish Immersion program in 2007.
The Clearview Elementary remodel and expansion was a part of the series of facility upgrades that IIW Minnesota partnered with the district to execute in 2015.
