IIW Minnesota unveiled today the extensive two-story addition and remodel of North Junior High that brought 17 new classrooms, improved amenities and better connectivity across the 60-year-old school facility.
The newly designed space met the St. Cloud school’s need for a larger cafeteria, additional restrooms, more secure entrances and improved air quality through a new heating and ventilation system.
David Leapaldt, senior architect for IIW Minnesota, has worked with the district on its facility plans since 2005.
The North Junior High remodel and expansion was a part of the series of facility upgrades that IIW Minnesota partnered with the district to execute in 2015. This represented the district’s largest facility project in 2015.
