From the preliminary design to bidding to construction, IIW provided city leaders with the information and plans needed to improve traffic control and safety at an important intersection in their community.
IIW helped the City of Dewitt devise a plan to realign the intersection of 14th Street and 8th Avenue and improve traffic control. The project began with IIW’s municipal engineers conducting a study to determine how to improve sight distance, better control traffic and take in account nearby daycare, fitness and aquatic center.
The IIW team remained involved from the public engagement process, permitting and utility coordination to design and completion. IIW engineers completed plans for paving, drainage, sanitary sewer and water main design.
