The completion of a new residential development on the picturesque Castle Hill in Dyersville, Iowa, resulted a sought-after neighborhood and plans to expand.
IIW designed the first phase of the Castle Hill Estates project to include 37 lots in the rural subdivision. The IIW team worked to create a plan that would have minimal impact on the surrounding area and keep costs contained for the developer.
As part of preliminary design, IIW coordinated water and sanitary utility extensions with the city. The design used open drainage ditches to reduce storm water runoff in this phase of the subdivision.
Upon completion, the lots moved quickly, prompting the beginning of the next phase of the subdivision.
