Dubuque, IA—Emily Crowe, PE, Structural Engineer at IIW, received her Professional Engineer license from the State of Wisconsin.
“It’s very rewarding to be licensed after years of working toward this goal,” said Crowe. “I strive to be the best engineer I can be by learning from challenging projects and knowledgeable coworkers. I love seeing the impact of the projects I work on within the community.”
Emily has five years of experience working on a range of structural projects from concrete structures to new school buildings. Her primary focus is on building design where she may be required to analyze steel, concrete, wood, and masonry all in one project. She has worked on a variety of building projects including new construction, additions, and pre-engineered metal building foundations. She also designs earth retaining structures as well as traffic signal foundations.
Emily has been a member of the Dubuque Area Society of Women Engineers since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2013. She has served as the section’s president since 2017.
