Dubuque, IA—Marie Amundson, PE, civil engineer at IIW, received her Professional Engineer license from the State of Iowa.
Marie passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination in college and recently passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) Examination. To receive her PE license, she also submitted an Application for Professional Engineer Registration which includes letters of reference, college transcripts, and documentation of meaningful engineering employment.
Marie has six years of experience in stormwater management, transportation drainage, erosion and sediment control, street improvements, bridge scour analysis, floodplain management, and water quality facility design. She also has experience in water, storm, and sanitary sewer system design and assessment.
Marie has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, as well as Environmental Engineering, from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.
