Dubuque, IA–After 27 years at IIW, P.C., James P. Kaune, P.E. has retired.
Jim is a Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience in civil and municipal engineering. He has vast knowledge and experience in street design, site design and land development engineering for site grading, industrial park development, and research and development of land surveying plats. He also has extensive experience in sanitary sewer and water system design, and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for storm water management and detention facilities. Over his career, Jim received several awards for quality, demonstrating the pride and passion he had for his work.

While Jim has officially retired, he will continue to work a few days a week to both assist with projects, and mentor and develop other engineers in his department.
